One euro to challenge the world's biggest film festival. One euro to create, on the golden bangs of the Croisette, a playground where artists forgotten by the spotlight could shine.
Twenty years ago, in 2005, Alain Zirah, eternal discoverer of new worlds, arrived in Cannes with Solène Guionnet, a young masked actress. They climb the steps as Spiderman and Catwoman. The stage was set. Ladykat is born. 
Alain demands the attention of the guests at the Majestic to introduce a young American director, Mark W. Gray. Solène pins a palm-shaped pin in his lapel. The OFF de Cannes will upset the established order.
In 2010, Anne Gomis joins the movement. Armed with an infectious audacity, the duo set off an artistic revolution. There's no need for a red carpet to make freedom blossom on the hot pavements of the Croisette. The Grand Concours International du Web will give artists from the worlds of film, music, fashion, writing and the visual arts international exposure. Since that day, we've never stopped daring. To dance outside the box. To expose the unexpected. We've seen careers born on a pontoon, standing ovations in villas, and artistic UFOs applauding the invisible. This festival is not just an event: it's a collective breath of fresh air. A gentle cry. A laboratory for tomorrow's artistic revolutions.
