Meetings on the Bridge Work in Progress Workshop Selection Announced

MEETINGS ON THE BRIDGE WORK IN PROGRESS WORKSHOP SELECTION ANNOUNCED

Meetings on the Bridge, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) as part of the Istanbul Film Festival and supported by Anadolu Efes, continues to bring together producers, directors and screenwriters from Turkey with international film professionals. Work in Progress focuses on films at the post-production stage.

Selected project holders, directors and producers, will have a chance to screen a rough cut of their film, and schedule meetings with international film programmers and film professionals to get advice and support in order to complete their film. This year’s selection includes 5 feature films and 1 documentary from Turkey.

∙ Gülizar (dir. Belkıs Bayrak, prod. Belkıs Bayrak, Mehmet Bahadır Er)

∙ 32 Meters (dir. Morteza Atabaki, prod. Morteza Atabaki)

∙ Walking Gently (dir. Etna Özbek, prod. Burak Karamete, Etna Özbek)

An International jury comprising Karim Aitouna (Haut les Mains, France), Thanos Stavropoulos (Agora, Thessaloniki Film Festival) and Nazlı Elif Durlu (director) will determine the films to receive an award.
